Aaron W. Chai
DIRECTOR
Aaron grew up in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and moved to Australia in 2008. Aaron was awarded a scholarship to study at the Australian National University (ANU). He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and Finance.
Aaron has more than 10 years of experience looking after families from Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and other Asian countries. Aaron previously worked in the financial hub of Singapore and his experience includes private wealth and cross-border wealth.
Aaron is fluent in English, Bahasa and Cantonese.
Outside of work, Aaron has 3 young children and enjoys scuba diving.
Paul Cartmill
INVESTMENT DIRECTOR
Paul is a CFA Charterholder and lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in financial markets. He spent 15 years in financial services in New York and was a Director of Merrill Lynch on the fixed income trading desk before becoming an Executive Director of fixed income trading at Morgan Stanley.
Paul returned to Australia and formed Thesan Asset Management to administer the Thesan Income Fund, a fixed income fund aimed at providing a reliable income flow for members together with stability of capital. Paul holds an LLB (Hons), a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment.
